About Our Farm
Happiness By The Acre started five years ago as a small urban farm growing fresh vegetables in Calgary, Alberta. We have expanded our farm to 153 acres of land near Carstairs, Alberta where we run our main gardens. We are a non-certified organic and ethical producer of vegetables and flowers, and are expanding our farm to include an orchard and livestock. On farm chaos is currently stewarded by Marcus, Sarah, and Samuel Riedner along with some cats and a lot of neighbourly help.
We are committed to bringing fresh, local, healthy food to all of our customers. Currently you can get our food from the following places.
Happiness By The Acre is a founding member of the YYC Growers and Distributors Cooperative in Calgary. Our products can be purchased through YYC Growers farmer's market stands and harvest box programs. Find out more at www.yycgrowers.com
On Farm Store
Swing on by the farm during the summer and you can find a fine selection of local craft goods, fresh eggs, and fresh seasonal vegetables at our trust based farm store.
